LGJS Mini Marathon Colour Run
Our wonderful LGJS community is always eager to take on challenges. Last week, every student from Year 1 to Year 6 participated in a fantastic event, jointly organised by the school and Friends of LGJS.
They accepted the challenge and completed a Mini Marathon Colour Run, running 2.6 miles to raise funds for Alder Hey Children's Charity and Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group - two charities that are very close to our hearts.
Our inspiring and colour-drenched PE staff, lead from the front, much to the delight of children and supporters. We are so proud of them.
A huge thank you to all those who organised this amazing event, came along to support and donated so generously.
We have raised an incredible £5500 so far!
