Philippa, a pupil at LGJS, wanted to show her appreciation by reaching out to Mrs. Green's idol, Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock, at the University of Leicester. Philippa asked for a signed photograph, but to her surprise, Dame Maggie, who is the Chancellor of the university, sent a video message inviting Philippa and Mrs Green to meet her.

Dame Maggie is best known for her work on The Sky at Night and joined the University of Leicester in 2023. Philippa and Mrs. Green had the opportunity to meet Dame Maggie backstage after one of the university's graduation ceremonies at De Montfort Hall.

It's safe to say they were over the moon!
